Arte Careyes

ArteCareyes is a cultural festival that combines film, music, design and contemporary art with the glamour of an exotic and upscale destination such as Costa Careyes and the Costalegre, its diverse international community and the experience of a series of conceptually exciting events.

With a great media coverage from important social media such as Quien, Caras, Esquire, Marie Claire,Vogue, RSVP, Club Reforma, among others, and the participation of distinguished personalities such as Ana Claudia Talancón, Ana Serradilla, Benny Ibarra, Camila Sodi, Carlos Cuarón and Ximena Sariñana, Crisa Libbey was the sponsor of the official tumbler for the Festival, dressing with a beautiful design some of the events that took place in the festival. We were also part of the welcome kit delivered to attendees.

ArteCareyes has been focused in contemporary art combined with social causes, being this reason for gathering several Mexican artists, the most representative, to exhibit an auction their work.

The most interesting part is that 50% of the money raised in auctions goes to the artist and the other 50% to benefits, such as the local clinic, Vargas Memorial Fund for Children with Paraplegia; Fund for Peace, Selva Negra y The Careyes Foundation.

Among the 42 artists that participated, we can find Thomas Glassford, Silvia Gruner, Laureana Toledo, Gabriel de la Mora, José Dávila, Fabián Ugalde, Manuel Rocha Iturbide y Gonzalo Lebrija, being the last name the one in charge of the fabrication for the commemorative piece along with Mont Blanc, themed for the 100th anniversary of the firm.

Arte Careyes ha enfocado el arte contemporáneo con las causas sociales, por lo que ha reunido a jóvenes artistas mexicanos, los más representativos, para exhibir y subastar sus obras.

Lo interesante es que el 50% de lo recaudado va para el artista y el otro 50% para las instituciones de beneficencia del país, como lo son la clínica de la zona, Vargas Memorial Fund for Children with Paraplegia; Fondo para la Paz, Selva Negra y The Careyes Foundation.
